Tadelakt is a Moroccan technique originating from Marrakech. It is the plaster traditionally used in hammams. Aesthetically, it is similar to Italian stucco. This lime-based finish can be used not only on interior and exterior walls, but also on floors, bathtubs, showers, sinks, tabletops, and terra cotta tiles and pots. Tadelakt is natural, water resistant, mineral, diffusible, resistant to dirt, antifungal, hypoallergenic and free of any synthetic substances.
